Board of Directors Meeting Minutes
July 10, 2006 Bourbonnais Library
Attendance:
Vernette Karnes, Jeff Gindy, Ed Smith, Kurt Karnes, William Smierciak,
Sarah Powers, Deb Laskey, Bob Laskey, Greg Matteson, Tammy Malmer, Mary Kyrouac
and Scott Kyrouac
Visitors:
None
Ed called the meeting to order
at 6:20
Ed questioned if there were any
corrections to the meeting. William motioned to accept the minutes.
Sarah seconded. Passed.
Officer Reports:
C. Secretary- Vernette motioned to purchase USB drives for storage of Dynamo Secretary and schedule information up to cost of $100.00. Jeff seconded. Passed
D.
Treasurer- Nothing
to report.
E.
Parent Representative-
Mary will have code of conduct, the coach, assistant coach and team parent
lists, along with note to ask parents about medical issues put in the coaches’
mailbox.
Committee Reports:
A.
Fields
and Grounds- Kurt
motioned to pay $30.00 a week to line the fields.
Vernette seconded. Tammy will
check to see if her contacts are interested.
Ed
will call Hildebrand regarding parking lots.
Greg
will increase watering to the maximum per day.
Paint
costs have increased. Greg will
check for better prices.
The
garbage cans still need to be put out. Scott
will take care of.
Ed
will contact the contractor for the work south of Dynamo fields.
Greg
will contact dumpster company regarding getting key for dumpster.
Greg will also contact waste management regarding porta potties.
The
pulley on the flag pull needs to be fixed.
Greg
will get numbers on the fields.
B.
Sponsors-
William has a couple sponsor logos missing.
William will contact Mike and/or the sponsors if necessary.
C.
Fundraising-
Nothing to report.
D.
Concessions-
Kim Smith has already started buying supplies.
Kim will get a membership to SAMS.
The
concession stand counter needs to be painted.
The
concession workers will get bi-weekly checks vs. cash.
Ed
will ask Kim Smith to check on pop machines.
E.
Equipment-
William has ordered all equipment. William
will order Kim Smith a concession manager shirt and Chris Deschand a board
member shirt.
F. Coaching- Nothing to report
G.
Schedules-
Vernette is working on the schedule. Please
email her with any schedule requests.
H.
Pictures-
Nothing to report.
I. Building- Nothing to report.

Publicity-
Nothing to report.
L.
Referee in Chief-
The referee clinic is the next 2 weekends. Do
we have SAY rulebooks?
Vernette
will email Tammy the blank schedule of game times so that she may start
scheduling referees.
Tammy
will work on referee game cards.

Risk Management-
Nothing to report.
N.
Assistant to the Vice President-Nothing
to report.

Vernette
will fill out form and send to SAY so that Dynamo can participate with Old Mill
Tournament.
Vernette
will put injury reports forms in boxes and have copies made up for OAK.
After the forms are filled out, they will go to the Vice President to
fill out online SAY form.
Jeff
will donate Dynamo soccer videos to the Bourbonnais Library so the can be
checked out and used.
