  • Trounce rule - Dynamo is a recreational league and both teams are responsible for trying to maintain a positive and reasonable style of play.  Coaches are asked to take heed of goal differential and adjust their coaching style to maintain a high level of sportsmanship.  If the goal differential becomes 4 or greater it is recommended that coaches substitute their higher skilled players or place higher skilled players in goal or at defense to slow down their scoring and limit the oppositions scoring.  If a team doesn’t adhere to these guidelines REFEREES WILL TREAT TROUNCING AS UNSPORTSMANLIKE BEHAVIOR AND ARE DIRECTED TO SHOW COACHES A YELLOW IF THEY DO NOTHING AND A RED IF THE BEHAVIOR PERSISTS.  If a coach needs suggestions on ways to limit trounces, either offensively or defensively, please seek out the Coaching Coordinator for suggestions.

Penalties for Disciplinary Infractions:

WARNING FLAGS - DYNAMO WILL HAVE AN 8 FOOT FLAG AT EACH FIELD FOR A COACH, REFEREE, OR BOARD MEMBER TO SIGNAL A POTENTIAL PROBLEM. THIS WILL HELP THE BOARD MEMBER ON DUTY TO RESPOND MORE EFFICIENTLY TO PROBLEMS.

  • Red carded players or coaches must meet before the disciplinary committee before playing again

  • Any parent, coach, etc. that is asked to leave a game, practice or the facility will be required to meet before the disciplinary committee prior to attending another game and may be suspended by the committee. Any suspension may be appealed to the Executive Board.
