Board Member On Duty Information

Morning Tasks

Unlock: Bathrooms, turn on lights, ensure supply of handsoap and toilet paper.
Unlock and open coaches room.
Unlock equipment area side door for referees to access field flags and assist in placing flags if necessary
Unlock dumpster
Hoist American flag and Dynamo flag [US flag always on top]
Ensure First Aid supplies available in coaches room. Replenish from concession area supply as necessary
Ensure Injury Logs available in coachs room. Place them with OAK rep if one is present.
Ensure OAK banner displayed in appropriate area.

 P.M. Tasks
Help refill soda pop machines as necessary
Take down American flag and Dynamo flag and return to coaches room.
Return injury log to coaches room.-Notify treasurer of any injuries requiring further medical attention
Help count concession money and sign off
Denote any supplies which need to be replenished and forward info to appropriate board member [tractor gas, toilet paper, hand soap, broken field flags, garbage bags, socks, shorts etc.]
Empty  garbage cans that are more than half full, place garbage in dumpster. [Remember to work with concessions personnel to get garbage from room behind the concession stand]
Lock dumpster [unless full beyond capacity]
Turn off lights and lock bathrooms, coaches room, equipment room

 Throughout the day
Monitor garbage can levels, empty as needed, usually around mid-day, more often for the ones closest to concession stand.
Check in at concession stand to see if help is needed [supplies, change, labor]
Walk around complex, ensure remind spectators, and coaches of sportsmanship, no smoking, pets, as necessary,  answer questions etc.
Check bathrooms for toilet paper,soap, cleanliness etc. Re-supply and clean as needed.

Tractor- when cold pull choke all the way out to start. When warm, don’t choke, it floods easily. Always keep dumpster key, goal lock key, and tractor key on ring on throttle lever when not in use, Keep garbage bags and duct tape on the trailer. If tractor is turned too sharp, bck tire will rub on trailer

 Garbage-cans nearer concession will fill sooner, check more frequently, empty as needed. Tied shut full bags may be placed next to the ans during the day and taken to the dumpster at the end of the day with the tractor. (Don’t empty the high school’s cans)

Move cans slighty after emptying to avoid killing the grass in same spot.

 Dumpster- get all garbage in dumpster. Do not leave any on ground. Stack garbage as high as necessary and leave dumpster open if required. Pickup day is Monday. They will lock it after pickup.

 Two way radios in concession area. Leave one with concessions, carry the other and turn over to oncoming BMOD. Let concessions know you are the duty member.
