Throughout the day

Monitor garbage can levels, empty as needed, usually around mid-day, more often for the ones closest to concession stand.

Check in at concession stand to see if help is needed [supplies, change, labor]

Walk around complex, remind spectators and coaches of sportsmanship, no smoking, no pets, answer questions etc.

Check bathrooms for toilet paper, soap, cleanliness etc. Re-supply and clean as needed.

Tractor- when cold pull choke all the way out to start. When warm, don’t choke, it floods easily. Always keep dumpster key, goal lock key, tractor or utility vehicle key on ring in ignition when not in use, keep garbage bags and duct tape on the trailer. If tow vehicle is turned too sharp, back tire may rub on trailer

Utility vehicle-must be in neutral to start. If vehicle will not crank, cycle selector in/out of gear to ensure it is in neutral. Choke is the toggle switch on the vertical panel beneath driver seat. If engine is cold, choke it to start, choke position is toggle switch perpendicular to vertical seat support panel. After engine started, flip choke lever down. May have to feather the gas pedal when cold starting.

Tip: check gas tank level before venturing out. No fun to run out of gas at the far end of the complex and have to lug the gas can across the grounds for refill.

Garbage-cans nearer concession will fill sooner, check more frequently and empty as needed. Tied shut full bags may be placed next to the cans during the day and taken to the dumpster at the end of the day with the utility vehicle and trailer. If there are paid workers for trash duty,  they will haul bags to dumpster and pick up fields at the end of games. We must still change out full cans during the day. If there are no paid workers for trash duty, the PM board member on duty hauls the bags. For 2011 Dynamo cans have been placed around the high school JV field since we are using it for Dynamo activities. These cans will need emptying as well.

Move cans slightly after emptying to avoid killing the grass in same spot.

Dumpster- get all garbage in dumpster. Do not leave any on ground. Stack garbage as high as necessary and leave dumpster open if required. Pickup day is Monday. They will lock it after pickup.

Two way radios in concession area. Leave one with concessions, carry the other and turn over to oncoming BMOD. Let concessions know you are the duty member.
